The Michigan Wheel MP-3 blade is the most well-known, finest crafted 3-blade propeller for all purpose use. This style and design is primarily used on vessels with speeds less than 15 knots. The design of MP-style propellers include: semi-elliptical shape; constant pitch; and ogival blade sections. The Heavy Duty (HD) is identical in design to the Machine Pitch, but incorporates thicker blade edges, engineered specifically for severe conditions. These edges resist abrasion and blade fracture.
